Function
As an international non-profit organization, DNV operates offices throughout the world related to standards and accreditation in shipping and other international businesses.  To reflect this, DNV dedicated each meeting room on their conference floor to a city in which they operate, including Mumbai and Rio de Janiero, illustrated left.  Other conference rooms are dedicated to Houston, London, Shanghai, Singapore, Dubai, and Oslo.

Aesthetics
These different DNV offices sent material to the Houston office which they thought best illustrated their culture and unique setting.  MKG edited this material and designed framing and installation schema to present this various material as a cohesive and tasteful whole. 

Site Specificity
Because each conference room is separate, each could have a different “feel.”  However, all the material is presented and framed to highlight quality and uniqueness while not undermining the whole aesthetic of the floor in general.  For instance, some materials were received in highly decorative gold frames with colored mattes, which were replaced with more low-key frames in order to fit into a professional aesthetic.
