Jacobs Engineering Archival Project

Function
Jacobs Engineering sought to decorate their lobby with fine art in combination with art sourced from their company archives, which include thousand of images regarding various aspects of the energy business.  MKG Art Management culled through company photographic archives to select the most visually interesting images.  MKG then hired an artist to make the images more abstract, as illustrated left.

Aesthetics
Jacobs Engineering wanted strong, abstract imagery to complement their stone and stainless steel lobby. 

Site Specificity
Utilizing company photographs in combination with a large abstract painting commissioned for the company, MKG achieved the objective of combining fine art and company materials in a seamless way for Jacob’s contemporary lobby space.
