Function
MKG Art Management LLC is currently working with Rice University on several campus-wide projects.  For the Graduate Business School, Rice University wished to use art to optically shorten a very large meeting room.

Aesthetics
MKG commissioned native Houstonian Dixie Friend Gay to complete three large oil paintings on canvas. These paintings represent the landscape surrounding Buffalo Bayou and bring color and interest to the room.

Site Sensitivity
The paintings visually shorten the space and serve to distract the viewer from the limited amount of natural light and from the asymmetrical paneling on the wall.
